I enjoyed the movie for the most part, but thought that John, Sarah and Mark looked too old to be high school students. Sam, however, looked the part and sounded like a 16 year old.

actually, the guy who played John is actually only 18 or 19 when filming this movie. So he was the right age

shareNot to quibble, but he was 20. And he looked 25 EASILY. I laughed during the commercial when he said "I know how to fit in" and then promptly marched into a high school with his hood over his head. I was wondering if by "fitting in" he meant working as the hot substitute gym teacher.
He's the one I thought looked most out of place, followed by Dianna Agron who is legitimately about 25. I thought Jake Abel looked pretty believable (at least compared to AP and DA, who I thought looked mid-20s).
