IMO, I liked his acting. I saw him in "In Time", and he seemed to be a totally different person. There was a distinct difference in the acting. Yes it was a different movie, but to me many actors don't portray a different character when they switch from movie to movie.
Despite the obvious flaws of the film, I am looking forward to whatelse A. Pettyfer will do. What say you?

I would not call Alex a good actor, he is medocre at best (e.g. Magic Mike and In Time). His only good performance so far was his first TV flick. Other than that he has been mostly killed by critics, especially for Number Four and BEastly.
Yeah, he's not going to win any Oscars, but he's very good looking and can pull off a role that isn't too demanding. I'm a fan of his. He's wickedly entertaining in his roles.
