JUST ANNOUNCED 5 MINUTES AGO!!! Takeshi Kitano (my favorite director in the world) will release his newest film "The Outrage" on DVD in Japan December 3rd... with English subtitles! YES! I am preordering this asap. 3 1/2 more months away. I am more excited about this than, well, anything.

shareI'm sure it'll be on ebay. I had to order Kitano's last 3 films from Ebay since no one will distribute the best director in the world's films in America, I guess, but they were all region 0, with english subs. I managed to get those films about a week after they came out, off of ebay, for about $12 a piece after shipping. Not bad.

Here you go kids - get it now!!!!!! This is a great site for picking up classic Korean movies etc - in special editions that you can never buy anywhere - and they ship worldwide....I don't work for them by the way - I just buy from them.

it says it's region 2 as well, region 0 means it plays on all players correct ?
shareThis dvd might be region 2 (though I've ordered plenty of things that are supposed region 2-3 in the past and find out they work just fine on my player; it seems only big companies, like Fox, really enforce the region lockout thing.. sadly, a big company seems to be releasing this), but there's ways to easily get around this... I had the region 2 Takeshis' and it played on my American dvd player with no problem, and like I said, the rest of his films I ordered off of ebay from hong kong and they played fine, but were region 0 (which, indeed, means all players).
He is the only director where I own actual copies of all of his films, he is by far the best director in the world imo. I am so excited for this. Just the fact that it has english subtitles is reason for me to pick it up.
