Tadanobu Asano ?

That question is just to fulfill my curiosity.

If anybody could confirm (or not) if I'm right about that : at about 1 hour 07 minutes, when Otomo himself gets in the public bath to do his dirty work, he first kills a thug washing his head. That thug looks quite like Tadanobu Asano ! Yes, you can only see his face for about one second or two but I'm almost sure that it's him.

There are two reasons why I'm believing that it's him : first, I love that actor and have seen more than forty of his movies ! So I can at least say that I know his face. And second, the way that the thug is positioned after have been shot is almost the same as the one you can see in Zatoichi when the bodyguard (played by Asano) is killed by Zatoichi and lays on his side.

The thing is that I haven't seen anywhere some mention about Asano in Kitano's last movie. So maybe am I wrong, I don't know. So if anybody can enlighten me :)

I doubt it. For such a small role, I don't think they would cast Asano. Even as cameo.
Can you help me finding him in Takeshis? I saw him in the cast, though failed to find him in the movie.
Also I think it would be awesome if Asano will join Autoreiji 2 cast. Definately epic!

Maybe you're right, it does seem odd to cast Asano just for such a small role.

It's been a while I haven't seen Takeshis'. Bu yes, why not trying to find Asano next time I watch this movie.
