Steven Spielberg is a known globalist. This basically means he would prefer to get rid of nation states and replace them with a world government.
That was the symbolic message throughout the Falling Skies series. In case it was too subtle for you Spielberg slams the message over your head with this ending. It sums up Spielberg's dream of seeing America destroyed and replaced with globalism.
Here is the final speech from Tom Mason:
"Once upon a time there was a place called America." In other words, this place no longer exists [massive cheers].
"Now moving forward borders don't mean what they used to." A country is defined by its borders. No borders = no countries
"Before we were countries we were human beings" If we want our humanity back we needed to get rid of the countries
It was no mistake the final battle involved the destruction of Washington DC. Do you see the clear message here? This TV show was not about aliens, but politics.
Hey dumb dumb, SS has his name in all kinds of TV and Movie production, he helps fund them, if you think SS was writing EPs for this SAD show, one of the worst shows put on TV, you are delusional, hes like jj abrams, sometimes they start the shows and thats the last they have to do with them, their name is on the show only, SS has his name all over TV shows as the executive producer, SS sets them up, and leaves them to their own.
This show was as bad as it gets, set production was even worst, the show fall apart after S2, I can't even get to watch the ending!

JJ Abrams was heavily involved in most of his TV shows especially Alias and Felicity which Jennifer Garner said in Alias interviews he was on the set every day during the first three seasons. I am not sure how much Steven Speilberg was involved in this show but it is far better than Taken which he had his name all over.

What a moronic reply. First, most people in Hollywood are globalists by their own admission. Second, no one said Spielberg wrote or directed this, but he did sign off on it as a producer. All of his productions have a larger message and given his politics this is one that would please Spielberg.
The bottom line is that this show is putting a message in the viewer's head that once America is laid to waste we can finally build a truly great society where borders and nations no longer exist. Sounds like a nightmare to me: https://youtu.be/uHyxzGSozZ4
"The results showed that those people who rated highly on the narcissism scale and who had low self-esteem were more likely to be conspiracy believers."
There is oodles written about the sad psychological traits of conspiracy theorists. You gotta feel sorry for them, feeling so afraid all the time.
