So many annoying characters
I decided to watch this movie only for the stunning Alison Brie and maybe a little for the cool Aubrey Plaza. There are tons of problems with this dumb movie but the main one for me is the amount of annoying characters.
Maybe the worse cast memeber is the character played by Molly Shannon. From the very beginning I hating her for the non-stop crying about the lost luggage. Surprisingly, she becomes more annoying as the plot progresses. From being just whining, she becoming also dependent, flamboyant, hysterical and extremely extroverted- combination of Cable Guy and Rubi Rhod but not in a good way.
Zach Woods always playing the guy who gets in love very quick and for some reason thinks that women owe him something. He born with a face and tone of voice that not matter which character he play, you want to slap him. Let's just say he meets our expectations.
Nick the founder of the company played by Alessandro Nivola is a shadey person and overly theatrical with his attempt to seduce Alison. He such a unconvincing caricature of Don Juan that he make no sense that Alison or any normal woman at planet earth believe him.
Aubrey look like someone who didn't want to be there. The trailer definitely lies about her role in the movie. In the trailer we gave the impression that she is the main character, but in movie she's no more then supporting actress. Nevertheless, she and Alison (and Tim Heidecker) still the only reason to watch it.
Not sure what is the purpose of Debby Ryan and Ayden Mayeri characters but they also have their share amount of annoying scenes: mainly Jen (Mayeri) with her annoying laughter.
And don't even get me started about the restaurant, I prefer to jump naked into a hummus pool than to serve such disgusting food to people.
Overall 3/10 - one point for the Alison-Aubrey scene (if you already watched the movie you understand)
