The reason why I loved this movie

Regardless of how realistic this could be or not, the movie went exactly the way I wanted it to go and for that it makes me enjoy it more. The scenes like how he didn't notice the birthday party was at the zoo just added to the thrill. And the scene when Lara's son kissed her was just sweet.

And what do say about the wife telling Crowe she did kill the woman? That just added on to the thriller! Excellent movie!

And when she try to commit suicide on the car because if they run they cant stay with their son again?

I didn't know a huge amount about this film before I saw it, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised.

It's really quite good IMO especially the last hour after John seeks a solution to his cash flow problems.

I think the Paul Haggis makes an attempt to make everything appear as realistic as possible, though to do this we have to believe a lot of coincidences occurred.

Russell Crowe is very good as "the ordinary guy" driven by fate, circumstances and the one he loves to plan an escape of extraordinary detail and subterfuge.

What a prick thing to say, man. If this message board were screen-capped, you would be the one viewers would say is an arrogant pompous creep.
Was that your intention? To be a jerk and to be seen as such?

I think she was just kidding and wanted to see her husband's reaction. I don't believe she killed her boss.
Yes, she was a bit impulsive, but why would she kill her boss and give up her happy family life?
She would have found another job.
