His wife is completely wacky!! Spoilers!

First of all she's guilty - Secondly she's a wacky person because of the fight she had with the woman at dinner ... At this point I realized she had issues.

She wants to kill herself .. Why bother saving her from prison.

When they escaped they were running through the subway. If you were trying to get away and blend in to the crowd ..... You're not going to run which would make you stand out. Also, that cop just leaning over and seeing them in the subway ... Like oh ya just at the right time is BS.

If you want to get away in a big city it's very simple ..act like everyone else.

The cop running down the subway tracks is hilarious! I don't know why they keep doing this is movies but COPS DO NOT RUN ON ACTIVE SUBWAY TRACKS!!

Also, Crowes character kept driving the getaway car like a maniac. Another way to get noticed by cops.

First of all, if you had actually bothered to watch the film all the way to the end then you would know if she is guilty or not.

Secondly, she may have anger issues at the dinner, but that humanises her - and makes it obvious to people who know her (like her husband) that she is unlikely to be an anger-excitation killer.

Thirdly, she tries to kill herself in prison because she has been unfairly convicted (all the evidence and testimony is entirely circumstantial) and will spend the rest of her life in a tiny concrete room. It would only be natural under the circumstances to be somewhat depressed.

Why bother saving her? She is his wife and the mother of his child.

In all fairness, she does come across as somewhat unlikeable, but your points are still wrong.

WRT the cops - they are movie cliches, as are the heroes' mistakes.

The escape is a more convincing version of the climax of "Argo", where the phony jeopardy was ladled on (and that still won an Oscar!).

I just couldn't walk past it, since I have rewatched this movie recently ...
that woman at the dinner ... you know, I'm really not quick to call someone names ... but that bitch... so arrogant, self-entitled, imposing her ignorant opinions (I felt that I had disliked the very appearance of the actress before, looked her up on imdb - and there! I hated her guts, her self-assurance and looking down on people in Tyrant - her face conveys all that character features really wellπŸ˜‰) in that disgusting, you-dealt-with-it manner, as if everyone should agree otherwise she won't let go of people! ... his wife was more or less tactful and polite to her, I would slap that agressive bitch without even thinking about it twiceπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.

"I could have your husband!" - what a freak is that? Like thank me for not liking him enough?
Long story short, I was really angry while watching that scene.πŸ˜€πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜

She wants to kill herself .. Why bother saving her from prison.

ehhh ... don't even how to tell, if you are a cyborg or some aliens, who just calculates the outcome, like, what's the purpose, what's the damage, like, that items has no or little willpower so what's the point of saving her our of prison, right? we need strong willed genes, right?

she tried to kill herself, end things because ... she couldn't stand prison any longer? and that's why she should be saved from it, that what gave her husband the determination to do that, she would last there for long period of time

At this point I realized she had issues.

But you saw the whole movie, right? and you know, that no matter how difficult was her issues, she was innocent. Should she stay in prison, because she had issues?

The car suicide made no sense story wise or in any other way. It was just a very stupid and silly scene. It's like something out of Too Fast too Furious but with overblown emotions. Even the attempt made no sense. Why would she kill herself before they even tried every option? And in front of her husband that she loves? This movie was on emotional overdrive just like any other extremely mainstream movie. Hell, the suicide was not even sure to succeed.

I don't agree on all your points, but I DO agree that she was completely insane and anyone that thinks differently should have their head examined.

That said, I very much think it was deliberate. Had she been a nice, normal person the probability of guilt would not be a question throughout the movie as the audience would perceive her incapable of killing anyone.

You are troubled and very gay.

She had issues alright, and I think she was complicit on some level (there was some vagueness). But I blame the kid. It was the source of the mother & father's behaviour.
