Why bother calling it Haunting in Connecticut 2?

It should be The Haunting in Georgia. It's not like it has any ties to Connecticut. I mean, I understand it's part of the franchise, but I think people would get it without the long title.

Obviously, it's gonna be straight to DVD/on demand markets so it makes sense from a marketing point of view even if that does mean the literal sense of meaning is trashed on account. The Haunting in Georgia might have worked if it had been a theatrical release that followed on the heals of the Haunting in Connecticut while it was still warm, but too much time has passed to cash in as part of the same series and given the belated nature and non-theatrical debut a more direct link now will actually convince more people to watch this. Sad but true. When terrible marketing works, whose really to blame?
