Not bad, could have been better

The movie starts out as a jumpscare fest, it then becomes a sympathetic movie about slavery in America, it then becomes a twisted movie about a Hellraiser cenobite taxidermy supernatural slasher then goes back to becoming a sympathetic movie... lol. It wasn't perfect, but it was a far better story than so many horror films out there today.

There's a heart in the movie that is rare, and the ending reminds me of The Lady In White, an '80s feel, avoiding cliche, I'd say check it out.

I rated it a 7, because while I felt it was a solid 6-6.5, the 4.8 rating is too harsh.

I agree on a solid 6 and that's what I actually gave it.
