To be fair, I only watched it on netflix because of the title.

I know the movie is getting criticism for the title, but its honestly the only reason I bothered, and at the end of the day it was no worse than the first.

Look the first was a movie that actually got a theatre release and made a decent 77 million in revenue, while this was straight to dvd I believe at least in the US. So the fact that they use the title of a "legitimate" movie was enough to get me to watch, otherwise I would just write it off as another direct to dvd junker.

That's exactly what this movie is though. The fact that they needed to add a bogus title to this movie in order to trick people into thinking it's a sequel shows how terrible the movie was.

I understand your point, but I felt it was on par with the first, which people thought was good enough for a dvd release.

Sure its not a Conjuring or Insidious 2 or anything like that, but its better than a lot of those Sy Fy films and other dime store budget films you can see on netflix or in a 10 pack collection for 5 bucks at walmart.
