So the black people and taxidermist were bad?

The taxidermist was a murderer and the black people were stealing from people?

reply

no the black people were trying to escape (they were slaves) - the taxidermist was nasty and stuffed people as well as animals

reply

The taxidermist was also a thief too (of freedom and life).

You cant steal freedom or life. Stealing freedom... how woudl that work. i was a slave and i stole your freedom? makes no logical sense.
Stealing life is what vampires do. not taxidermists.

Don't be ridiculous. I believe the poster means he stole their freedom by locking the slaves in the hole where he was supposedly hiding them while they were on their journey within the Underground Railroad and stole their lives by murdering them. It is an artistic reference.

reply

He enslaved them and murdered them, you could say he deprived them from freedom and life, but he didnt steal them. he didnt get their freedom or life from it.

Except as slaves, they were not "Free." They were not even technically considered to be people. They were property. It would be like your cellphone trying to escape the tyranny of your pocket.

stole their lives by murdering them. It is an artistic reference.

No. It's abusing the English language.
