When Aibileen confronts Hilly she hints at Yule May writing "the truth about her". What did she mean by it? We all know she was a racist backstabber but I thought her way of playing was known by everyone (hence her being queen bee of her community).
shareJust because someone's behavior is "known by everyone" it is an entirely different thing when someone says it out loud to other people and possibly to the person themself. Everyone walked on eggshells around Hilly because she was a b!tch and they did not want to end up on her bad side but rarely did anyone ever actually call her out to her face on her behavior which is what Aibileen was doing without even repeating what Yula Mae might have written about her. Hilly knew what she was talking about though which is why she ran out of the house.
