Is the character appearing in the Sitcom with a Head of Papermaché the same as in "Frank" (2013 movies with Fassbender)

Yes, the movie Frank is loosely based on Frank Sidebottom, who is shown in this. I found it interesting that both Magneto and Professor X do impressions of him.

Thanks for the explanation. I was afraid I accidentally got the movie Frank by mistake when I saw that papier mache head. I was glad to see he was only making a cameo.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
