so hot, so sad... so fücking excellent

At half an hour in this movie had tears in my eyes, and I was all "I'm there with you, brother." And yet at point right after my tears, I'm laughing. How brilliant is McAvoy. I've probably seen every movie or near every movie he was in, but by far this is his best. This is Oscar level here. I put it above even Fassbender in Shame.

And he's dressed up as a transvestite or whatever the name for that is, and he's a total hot mess. Garbage chic, and then he kisses that guy and it's so insanely hot, and I'm like the opposite of the girl who thinks gay men or men in gay situations or whatever slash shipping is. I avoid that like hell, but McAvoy just switches from hot mess to honeypot... And then he goes full macho man and throws the guy out the window, and I was in awe of the whole thing.

Even his suicide,, I'm geared up to cry again and then he just flashes that smile and I'm happy. I'm happy because it's like he cashed in before another *beep* could happen.

This movie was *beep* brilliant. Not so inspiring for anyone who has to deal with being fücked up mentally but they captured it so excellent! The writer, the director and McAvoy's ability to evoke emotions in other people. That dude's face!

And I'm not being a girl here and ranting about his eyes and his lips (yes the man is beautiful, even when he goes out of his way to not be), but I'm talking about the expressions and the emotions. Christ, I don't know the last time a movie had me crying, laughing, reflecting on the fücked up ness of my own life, wondering if my own father is still alive and cringing all in one.

Give McAvoy and the director and the writer all the fücking Oscars under the sun. This is Birdman x10000
