A dark comedy I saw a long time ago "Very Bad Things". Not as good as this movie, but similar.

great movie but, not british.

Bronson and Dom Hemingway maybe.

The Wolf of Wall Street with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Believe it or not, "World's Greatest Dad" makes for a decent double feature with "Filth." No, I wouldn't have guessed it, either, but I watched both films back-to-back yesterday while thinking of Robin Williams, and I was surprised to discover they both deal with similar subject matter and themes.

A funny black comic gangster film.

Thanks for that. I love Brendan Gleeson and haven't seen that one yet.

This film was an ode to Clockwork Orange and Kubrick's films. Besides that it reminded me alot of Trainspotting, Requiem for a Dream and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. If you haven't seen any of Kubrick's stuff or the movies listed above, I strongly recommend those.

This film is based off the novelFilth by Irvine Welshe. Not an ode to anything, trainspotting was also written by Welshe.
