where's dana?
where's Dana, the winner for next great baker? they made a big deal out of it, and now he's not even on the show.
Chances are, if your parents never had kids, neither will you.

shareI don't think he was supposed to be featured on Cake Boss, just work in the bakery as an intern. He doesn't fit in with the rest of the cast. I think if someone like Corina would've won, she may have been featured on the show because she was a loud mouthed Italian like the rest of them.

shareThere was a thread on the "Next Great Baker" board where someone complained that TLC spoiled the ending by showing a promo for the then-upcoming season of "Cake Boss". It seems that poster was watching the finale on a later replay, and during one of the commercial breaks TLC ran a promo (which I have seen myself sometime between the finale of NGB and the premiere of CB) with Buddy saying stuff like "This season, we're gonna do ____ and we're gonna ___ and we're gonna welcome the winner of our Next Great Baker competition!" with footage of Dana working at Carlo's. In other words, they DID say that Dana would be included in this season.

exactly, I saw the same posts as you Andy, as well as the commercial that said they'll be in this season...so I'm confused where he is. and even if he's not a central person in the show, you think you'd see him in the background.

they said he worked with Buddy on the baby cake for Lisa...was he shown in that episode? I don't remember. But they alluded to the possibility that he may be shown in the baby special episode tomorrow on facebook.

Yes Dana appeared on the Baby Special,...He will probably be on the show starting very soon oh and Not all Italians are loud mouths,... Besides I think Dana will have a good time with Buddy and his Bakery posse.
