'Christmas' episode

The episode dealt with all the craziness leading up to Christmas. The increased demand on production to meet the increase in demand in sales. The big family dinner. The steak dinner in the bakery for "the boys". Delivering excess product to the homeless shelter. Good TV stuff.

But when was it taped?

Was this shot in 2009 and delayed airing until now? I don't think so. Remy was nowhere to be seen, and not just as a result of careful editing.

And clearly it wasn't shot on Christmas 2010 and brought back to us by Mr. Peabody in the Way-Back Machine.

I can live with a certain degree of staged-ness in a reality show, I'm just not sure if my line has been crossed.

Yes, I remember this episode, and wondered the same thing, how they had time for all the extra activities when Buddy kept saying it's the busiest time of the year for the bakery. Plus he's got young kids, he would want to celebrate with his family privately, away from the cameras. And I always know if it's an older episode if Remy is still in the picture, literally.
