I know they are all over the top for the cameras, but geez are the women (the sisters and mama, not the decorators) irritating! The whining combined with those voices do not make for pleasurable television. Madeline is the only likeable one.

I totally agree! Maddalena (that is how IMDb spells her name) and Mauro are a great couple and I would love to have them as friends.

I think that actually Grace is okay, too. I absolutely don't like Mary, though. Her voice is like nails on a chalk board to me and everything I hear it I want to blow my brains out.

oh my goodness! Grace's voice is the MOST unbearable It's grating like Mary's but it's also higher.

All I can ever think is "poor Buddy" - I mean, could you imagine growing up surrounded by those women? Not just the sisters, either, as his mother can be quite loud & shrill too! And isn't he the only boy? I thought my loud Jewish family was bad, but we pale in comparison.

I can see why people don't like Mary's voice but it doesn't bother me. Now grace... Ugh her voice makes me cringe. And it's worse if she yells or argues.
