Peavy is the worse what a bunch of A Holes

So that kid both guys thought was so great and someone they couldn't close, basically guilt him into turning down another job that pays way more only to lay him off a few months after they get him to stay. WTF

They knew they were going to shut that down plant way before they announced it, they never should have tried to get him to stay.

They could have given him a better job in the company, instead of some crap skelton crew job.

I saw that.
I only watched the last 2 parts of the episode with Theresa and Mike.

Then before commercials I saw the clip of Mike saying his pissed off so I had to watch the rest.

Then it shows the employee rewards and convince Mike to stay with the company only to basically screw him over in the end.

Then they guy is saying "well it will be tough but that's the way business is".
They knew ahead of time that they were going to close that plant, don't lie. They should have thanked Mike for his service and let him go onto his other job he had lined up. Instead they screw the guy over and give him a crappy job.

Well I am not supporting Peavy ever now. They lost my business now.

That was the worst one that I have seen on the show. Why not be honest and tell people the truth. Especially the guy who turned down the other job. I hope he finds another one soon. I liked it better when the boss showed how they screwed up in front of some of there other employees. Never buy one of there guitars.

This show did not help Peavey that's for sure.

I only watch this show if I know the company and I know Peavey. I worked sound for a club using a live mixer. Just funny how they took a dump on that plant after knowing they had really good workers.

24 years on that place didn't get that woman jack squat.

Yeah and they were like OH these two people are awesome and need to be kept and then they lay both of them off. WTF

I agree it didnt help them at all both top guys are idiots and don't know how to run a company. Its just funny everything that women said was true and it played out before our eyes.

She was worried about them closing the plant, and it was closed.
She spoke about how the main guy never comes to talk to the plant and when they closed the plant he didnt even have the guts to tell them himself even after hearing her complain about it.

Yeah like that one CEO who started a company selling designer clothes cheap (I totally forgot the name of the episode and/or which one it was); at first he was all about the money, UNTIL he met the employees that worked for him and saw the poor working conditions they were working under. He made a lot of changes and even reached out to the poor communities to help people who were in need. I think he started somekind of fund that was inspired by one of his workers who visited the home shelters on his lunch break but he also helped at the food kitchen as well. Anyway, the CEO really changed and put his effort into helping ALL of his employees b/c at the end he was speaking to most of them while he was on a stage, and offered them a share in the company (not sure of the details, but it was a wonderful thing for him to do). Need more CEO'S like that!

Interestingly, the graphic on the screen at the end of the episode said that Peavey was "working on providing the rewards to Theresa, Mike and Ajay". So in other words, not only did they lay them off and close the plant, but on top of that they didn't even give them the money and rewards that they promised them during the sit-down at the end of the episode.

Yes...another kick in the pants. I read that and was like....WHAT... they didn't even get the money they were promised. I wouldn't doubt they never got paid in full either way. For one neither person worked for Peavey anymore so why would they give her the money?

24 years for a big box or turds. F Peavey...they should actually go out of business. I hope they file for bankruptcy.

Looks good on Peavey. As a musician with a whole jam room full of enough equipment to furnish a band I can say Peavey is junk, just one notch above Behringer on the music gear ladder. The only thing they ever made that was decent was their Bandit guitar amps, great sound for a couple of hundred bucks, and last forever.

What is a skeleton crew job?

I'm like Tinkerbell, Finn! I need applause to live!

A small team that's responsible for keeping the basic operations running, without the manpower to do much else or deal with anything unexpected. I think in this context it means maintaining a presence in the building to deter burglary, while disconnecting all the equipment and cataloging the remaining inventory as part of the shut-down. So for that one guy who could have had a career somewhere else if Peavey hadn't screwed him over, his new job is to clear everything out of that building now that no one is building anything there anymore.
