I love how when the "new employee" reveals themselves to be the boss, CEO, owner, etc, the employees are plesantly shocked. None of them are pissed that they were just straight up lied to. Just once, I'd love to see an episode where the employee is pissed off for being lied to.

I can't recall which episode it was, but there was one employee who wasn't thrilled about the deception, and said so. It was a male employee, but other than that I just don't remember which company it was.

I think the closest episode to an employee being pissed that I saw was an episode where they had a trampoline type of company. He was upset because the CEO had inadvertently spoken to him like he was trash in one of the "in the flesh" visits from a previous year. The employee told him he didn't like his tone in that visit, and the CEO apologized to him for his tone.

What about the Jacqueline, bitchy female employee at Retro Fitness? She didn't seem too thrilled especially when they brought out the franchise owner and he fired her. She was nasty to the customers, undercover boss and always on her phone.
shareMost of the employees are good employees, which is why they are pleasantly shocked and not upset. I have only seen two employees who are upset when the "Trainee" reveals themselves to be the CEO or at least some part of Corporate, and they were horrible employees.
One was a shift lead named Ronnir who was talking constant crap about the customers and saying he hated them and thought they were self entitled snobs, something a shift lead who is part of management shouldn't be doing. I think he also talked crap about Corporate themselves saying something like he felt Corporate treated the management like they were Robots. So when the "Trainee" COO revealed himself to her, he was upset in a "God, I screwed up royally," way.
The other bad employee was named Jackie. She said she wanted to punch the customers in the face! LOL. When the CEO revealed himself to her, she was upset and said she wouldn't have spoke like that if she new he was the CEO.
