Peavey

I have never been mad after watching an episode of UB until I watched the Peavey episode.

Not only did they not give a s**t about their loyal employees, but four months later and they were "still working" on giving the recipients their gifts. What bull!

If they think that they're going to get the same quality in Asia as they did from these great people then they shall be sadly mistaken.

Not to mention that they hurt their business by going on UB and openly showing this on national tv. People DO still care to have quality goods made in the USA. We may not care for stupid stuff, like cups or pencils, but for goods like amps we do.

I won't ever buy from Peavey.

You would be surprised how much better the quality of musical instruments and amps made in Asia, China in particular has gotten. And the pricing is a lot better. American instrument companies have practically priced themselves out of the market, especially with their American made product.

And don't fool yourself about American companies, a lot of their product is being made outside the country these days. Fender, for example has quite a bit of product manufactured in Mexico (Fender), China (Squire) and other Asian countries (Squire Affinity).

I bought a few electric guitars from an on-line importer for $150-180 that were made in China, dropped $50 Seymour Duncan pickups into them and now have 3 guitars that are every bit as good as Fender's $1500 American made guitars. Don't knock them until you've tried them.

never saw this show until today and it was the peavey episode(I have a peavey guitar amp)
I would be suspicious the moment the owner walked in, that very bad wig he was wearing would be a dead give away, no company would hire anybody that looked like that.

No "company would hire anybody that looked like that"? Methinks you think too much. This show is for people that don't use their brain.
