His Buyers were all men -- are you kidding me? Maybe it's a middle east thing.
And for him to give out all that money, it must come from a foundation that the store has. I don't think he would go in his pocket and give out that kind of money.

Buyers, as in people shopping at his stores or buyers, as in people who are in charge of stocking and distribution?
I never really paid attention to people in the store, as I did with him and the employee, who he was working with. I did see some gals, especially at that one part where a theft happened.
All the amount the CEOs give, some could very well come from them; however, some of the money could also be from the store profits. Additionally, it would not be insane to think that whatever $ is given, they get to write it off on taxes.
