NOBODY will watch the spinoff, because of required subscription

Don't get me wrong, I can not wait for this show.

Nobody is going to watch the spin off on CBS streaming service. Its all about simplicity, I already have NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME and HBO NOW. Why would I want to add CBS streaming service to my bills for just one show?

Are they crazy. They'll air a lot of crappy new shows on the actual channel but not a spin off from one of their most successful series in years. ????????. who's idea was this?

They need to just put it on TV or sell it to another streaming service that already has a large user base. Simple.

I have to agree with you. I'd sure watch it on the regular CBS channel, especially now that I know they've signed Sarah Steele ("Marissa") as a regular.

But if I signed up for that streaming service, that's about all I'd get for it, which isn't a very good deal.

I don't know who makes these decisions, but I think they got this one wrong.

About crappy shows, there's so much garbage on the schedule that my TV stays off most of the week. Rather than pay for special packages, I'll just do something else.

It was an extremely unwise decision to even make this "All Access" service.

This would be like having to pay for CBS itself. They're not HBO, lol. HBO can get away with it because of that fact.

I really wanted to see this show but its unrealistic it will last more than one season.

they could've easily gone to Hulu. This is just stupid.

I think it will last more than one season because there's not much else on All Access drawing attention besides Star Trek and they definitely want to stay alive in the streaming market. Killing off one of their two high-profile shows after one season/their first attempt at making All Access "happen" would be unwise on their part; they're going to give this a chance - at least until they have tried or succeeded in building momentum with other programming on All Access.

I can see your point of view from a business stand point. Maybe I should have made this clear in my first post. They can still change this decision and put it on TV. I guarantee you, no one is going to to run and subscribe for ANOTHER streaming service for one show. And yes I know about Star Trek, I feel that those same demographics couldn't be bothered to add another streaming service for just one show.

I really want to watch this show, but I'm not going to pay for CBS all access just for this show.

It will probably end up on Netflix.

I REALLY hope whoever made the bad decision to offer it on streaming only will realize their mistake and put it on the regular CBS channel, where they would be guaranteed a loyal fan base like the original show had.

With the cast they've hired for it, I'd be sure to watch the spinoff every week. But I'm not anxious to sign up for some streaming service that isn't offering anything else I'd want to watch.

And it's really disheartening to see the list of shows they plan to run on their regular channel. No thanks! 

Just saw the news about production starting up. AGAIN is points out that it will only be on the streaming service. Does anyone know WHY it won't be on TV???

I have to agree, I WONT pay CBS to watch the spin off, one, I am over anything the "Kings" have their name attached too, but I will watch the first episode that the mothership will air and then decide I want to watch it via alt means.
