I started binge watching this show a few weeks ago and I am now on season 6 episode 2 and noticed for the very first time how much this is draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaging on. Does it get better after this or should I stop watching now. This is taking forever to get the current story line going.

A few of us thought that Season 6 was awful, but it picked up again in Season 7.
As for me, I saw every episode of every season, so even though a lot of things were going ways I didn't like, I wasn't going to give up on it until I had seen the final episode to complete the series. I wanted to get the full picture of what the writers had planned.
My favourite seasons were always 1 and 2, of which I watched every episode at least twice during the weeks between. I also pre-ordered the DVDs of those seasons so I could get them as soon as possible. But I thought it kind of started a slow decline in Season 3, and I haven't bought any of the DVDs since.
I too, noticed an extreme change early one in the writing too but nothing is as bad as season 6! I am doing all I can to watch it. It's pretty brutal.
