Howard Lyman
Im rewatching season 3 now, and Howard Lyman is a named partner. Does that mean his name is in the firm, like Lockhart/Gardner And Lyman or is that not what named partner means?

shareWhen someone is a "named partner", it does mean that their name is part of the firm's official name. In the bigger firms, though, there are so many partners that it's usually abbreviated everywhere else.
For example, the firm of Dewey, Cheetham & Howe is usually just referred to as "Dewey & Co." So even if Howard's name would appear on their official letterhead, it would most likely never be mentioned. The firm would still just be referred to as "Lockhart/Gardner".
No, he was probably just called a senior partner. It was originally Stern, Lockhart, Gardner, and then it was dropped to just LG.
