He is the worst, I hope he ends up getting killed. It happens at 5.15 and then his dad appears at some point asking to continue the case, but I think there is nothing after that.

He is a government plant who uses his B+ club to target overachievers such as Danny Littlejohn and rid the them from society, without getting caught. Someone had to be a patsy, in this case it was Mr. Grant. Will Gardner stumbled upon this and he was killed to protect the secret. Jeffery Grant was also framed for this. He was subsequently shank`d in prison by Vern Schillinger who was transferred from Oswald Correctional Facility (Oz)

I assume that you've already seen the rest of Season 5, but just in case: Jeffrey grows more and more despondent -- he can't handle being in prison, where he's getting beaten up, and there doesn't seem to be any hope of his being vindicated and released. In a moment of desperation in court, he grabs a gun from a court officer and starts shooting; he shoots and kills Will, who was trying to get him to hand over the gun, and he tries to shoot himself, but by the time he thinks of this, he has used all the bullets in the gun. So even tho he was innocent of the original crime, he winds up in jail, probably for life tho we never find out for sure, because of the deranged shooting in court.
