Did Julianna Margulies wear a wig during the entire run of the series?Yes, she did, for two reasons: One is that she describes herself as "a Jew with curly hair", and she wanted Alicia to look more WASP-y, with smoother, sleeker hair.
And two, because her natural hair is very frizzy, she would have had to spend a lot of extra hours in Hair & Make-up having it straightened (which would have damaged it over time) when she'd rather spend those hours with her husband and their little boy.
She said in an interview that her wigs cost $10,000 -- which was sometimes hard to believe. Some of them looked quite nice, like when she and Will were finally having sex. But other times, they looked very cheap and unflattering.
I hate that the boards are closing.I sure don't. In fact, I'm quite glad about it. I've been bullied on here relentlessly, and I won't miss that at all. I have a mentally-ll stalker, who has harassed me for the last eleven years.
