Eric Stonestreet said in an interview that a Cam-Mitchell spinoff didn’t make it past the script stage because ABC said they didn’t want to do it.

Thankfully!!!

They were fine in small doses on the series but having a show that focused just on their over-the-top histrionics would be too much.

I WOULD HAVE WATCHED IT....PROBABLY WOULD HAVE ENJOYED IT TOO...CAM AND MITCHELL ARE EXCELLENT CHARACTERS.
