Sofia's too hard to listen to, Ed's too hard to look at.

Otherwise an ok show. Ty Burrell's the man.

Whatever, troll...they're both freakin awesome.

reply

Yeah "hurr durr, you don't think the same thing I think so you're a troll". Genius.

...then whoa, differences...

reply

Well, you're certainly not a genius, spending quality time, criticizing other people.

Otherwise known as...trollin'.

reply

Yes, in a forum that is specifically for discussion and criticism. Silly me.

...then whoa, differences...

reply

Well, in that case 99% of IMDb users are trolls.

Is it a lie that Sofia Vergara has a thick accent anyway? I mean, even in the show her accent is a running gag. The OP didn't say anything harsh, and he did say he enjoys the show, so why do you say he's "trolling"?

reply

Ed's not hard to look at- how so??

reply

lol well it's all subjective of course, but I find him an eyesore. Even in MWC he was difficult to eyeball, and age has really not helped.

Ed O'Neil is one of my top celebrity crushes.

I know you've had a rough time.

reply

Ed is okay,I like him and his character, but everytime I see him I still see Al Bundy!

reply

I no longer see Al Bundy actually. I see him as Jay. He really aged over the last 8 years though. He didn't look nearly as old when the show started, his hair wasn't even this thin and grey. Ed is tv royalty in my book.

reply

Ed drinks a lot of alcohol on the show. As an old guy with a young family, that's not too bright. Maybe they'll make it an issue on some upcoming show, in real life he would need help.

reply

Betcha wouldn't mind Sofia's voice if she was screaming, "More! More! Harder!" in your face.

reply

I assure you I would mind. Totally off-putting, I'd far prefer she shut up.

reply

If she was riding me she could read the Bible in her off-putting voice for all I'd care.

Straight people are seriously *beep* hilarious 

I know you've had a rough time.

nice try Troll ....

reply

Great, another one who's completely lost sight of what 'trolling' actually is and simply puts every comment he or she disagrees with under that umbrella.

...then whoa, differences...

reply

Nice try, OP!!!!!

There we go olicoates, it's quite a primitive example but that is trolling.

the original post was a single sentence - saying someone spoke in an accent and her screen husband (aged 70) isn't a pretty boy - i consider that pretty much trolling. No explanation that they considered her accent to be incorrect for her region of latin America or why they found it hard. This is a comedy, people..and Ed O'neil (apologies if spelt wrong) plays this part with a beautiful level of cynicism and his wrinkly face is perfect for a world weary rich man with a beautiful young wife. Soooooo Terra any other pearls of wisdom ??
perhaps you would like to state that Game of Thrones is a bit unrealistic ....

reply

If you're too dense and deluded to figure out why someone could subjectively find Sophia's shrill squawking (her accent is irrelevant) and Ed's potato head (his wrinkles are irrelevant) less than appealing, you're a dunce. I don't think I needed more than one sentence, but you obviously want everything spelled out for you.

...then whoa, differences...

reply

i still think my point was valid .... but thank you for elaborating (if only a tiny amount) that its the tone of her voice that is the issue - but don't you think it may be played like that for comedic effect ? And also the contrast between beauty queen and her sugar daddy ? or did that go over your head ?

reply

Just keep your little world simple and call me a troll again. Far less taxing for you.

...then whoa, differences...

reply

Aww, doesn't like being characterized as a troll and "criticized".

If you have to title and author your quotes, they aren't worth quoting.

reply

I don't particularly care, but I'm happy to refute if it's horsesh#t.

reply

I know what you mean about Ed, but I never thought much about it.

I also see what you mean about Sofia, but Her B(oYo)bies are just too nice to criticize anything else about Her. Yes I Capitalized the H on purpoise!
