The Way ON dvd but not on Blu-Ray in the UK

I've just been looking on the HMV website and found that The Way will be released on DVD, but not Blu-Ray. Does anybody know why?

Thanks for posting this I'm about to give up it being shown in the US.

I will track it down and order it.

I hope you get and enjoy the film. Not sure which region the film will be. O or 2. But it also depends on the player you have.

It's out in the US on October 7, and the official website shows what cities are playing it.

Bit of a pain. I'd prefer it on BluRay but dont want to use a site i that may leave me paying substantial duties for a region free copy.

The movie is released in Spain on Blu-Ray at the end of October. You can get it from www.Amazon.es
