In the $5 bin at Best Buy
A good movie to watch and then donate to your local library.
shareGot mine at the $5 bin at Wal-Mart
shareGot mine too for five bucks at Wal Mart, but it isn't going anywhere but staying with me... Flipping loved it and have watched it several times already...
shareI'd pay $100 for it. It was THAT good.
shareCouldn't agree more. Lovely, lovely movie. Watched it three times now and probably will do so again shortly.
shareShocking that it is found in the $5 bin. If I was giving out Oscars, this movie would win Best Picture of 2010. I watched it once through and then I watched it again. For those that like what is called, 'slice of life' movies, this is a good one.
shareI agree with the previous two posters. This film has a deceptively simple quality that grows as it progresses, becoming very rich in a quiet way. A lot of viewers won't find much in it because it doesn't have any flashy scenes -- but it's essence & message is about what lies below the surface of everyday life, the very things that matter most but that our culture values the least. Not only that, but it makes its contemplative points with self-deflating humor much of the time, rather that Big Dramatic Scenes -- again, not the typical Hollywood formula. I find it to be a remarkably rewatchable film, becoming even more satisfying with each new viewing.
