shareOP is right. Generalizations are based in fact. People don't dream this stuff up. These are people that wait at ATMs just to rob tourists. They'll throw a baby at you just to steal your purse.
shareThe only crime that I witnessed when I holidayed in the Czech Republic for 6 weeks was by a gypsy and her young son in a supermarket, helping themselves to expensive pharmaceuticals and secreting them in her baggy clothing. For me the stereotype holds.

The father DID know of the son stealing, and probably wasn't going to do anything about it, but then saw Sheen pleading and figured out it was remains, so he did the right thing.
