I liked the Realism of It (Spolier)

This movie felt real in that Marley dies at the end and I kind of liked that. Having lost several people I love to Cancer, it doesn't always work out that the treatment works,`unfortunately. By having her die, it wasn't your typical "they live happily ever after" film and in most movies and TV, Cancer is almost always cured. This was a better film for them not having that happen.

I didn't want Marley to die. But when she did, I was glad the filmmakers didn't 'save' her miraculously. I was afraid she was going to wish to live. And THEN they were going to pull her magically through the deat

(I must add that I do know a colon cancer survivor. AND also someone who died when she was young, like Marley, of a different cancer, after being in a clinical trial. So, whatever is 'realistic,' I don't know... but bringing people back to health in a two hour movie always is a challenge.)
