This movie was better than I expected it to be. Kate Hudson did a great acting job. As I am a cancer survivor I thought the film did a good job depicting what her feelings were at the end. The only unrealistic thing was that Kate did not continue with the trial. Unrealistic in someone her age.

I agree! I didn't believe these characters and scenes seemed over-acted in the beginning but I fell into the story and found myself balling a couple times.
Nice movie :)
