Why no surgery?
I couldn't make out what the doctor explained why she couldn't have surgery. Thanks.
the cancer is too far along for surgery. the surgery would not help her get better.

She was stage 4....the cancer was too advanced and on too much of her colon.
At that point, the cancer spreads easily on to other organs also.
Get a colonoscopy....especially if anyone in your family has had it.
Don't wait for a sign...it's probably too late at that point.
