I was hoping it would be a teaser for another board game. but instead it's just for Battleship 2. lame

I have seen this film quite a few times. Never noticed this false ending. I had to double check it was part of the film. Apparently it is referenced in the film as fragments landing in various parts of Europe including the north of Scotland.
