Maybe it's because I'm not really married to the original, it's only ever been "okay" for me, but this was engaging and fun, and all the performances good ones. David Tennant was great and poor Anton (RIP) superb as always.

shareI really like this movie, including the music and visuals, even the end credits. The casting was great as well, Colin Powell has staying power as an actor and this was the perfect role for him. Great little film.

Yeah, I just never cared for the original the way that so many people do. It's held so dear by many, but I didn't like it much - for one thing, I find Chris Sarandon off-putting although I seem to be alone in that sentiment, lol. This remake is a good'un.
It's so sad about Anton Yelchin, what a loss.
