MVP of the film goes to...

David Tennant; a genuinely funny and effective supporting performance.

All cast are perfect.

It wasn't her "charisma" I was interested in.

Anton Yelchin. A great performance as the lead actor. Convincing chemistry with all the other actors, esp. Imogen Poots and David Tennant. Glad that he and Imogen are cast together again in Green Room.

Actors do not have a job...they have a blast!

I thought Yelchin was lifeless and didn't exude much charisma or charm at all here. Compare his performance to William Ragsdale in the original and there is no comparison. Poots was just as bland and has none of the comedic flair or timing as Amanda Bearse in the original, and Tennant's performance didn't appear natural or funny, just contrived. Mintz-Plasse was just playing himself as always and Toni Collette was wasted, anyone could have played Charley's mom. The only one who showed some class and helped buoy the film in my opinion was Colin Farrell as Jerry Dandridge. Even then, he wasn't as alluring or seductive as Chris Sarandon was in the original; but he still came over as sexy hot and more ruthless and evil.

He stole the show for me. I wish he'd been in it more.
