I was confused by that in the original. Why was he able to go outside in the sun as a vampire?

Still, I'd have to re-watch the remake to be sure. Who wouldn't want to be semi-Undead *and* give sexual services to Colin Farrell?!

I know he had one hostage. But they left it out here. Yeah sometimes I get versions mixed up like that.
