In the end when he was bashing Naomi's head against the floor? I mean, why would he as a vampire try to kill a person *that* way? And I mean I am looking for a reason other than so that she could still be saved by Eleanor in the story.
Also, why would Eleanor be so much stronger than him? I thought we would get a full-on vampire fight in that scene, but she threw him like a rag doll!
Eleanor and he are probably equal or similar in terms of enhanced strength. Keep in mind though their bodies still weigh the same as when they were human, so Peter was probably a buck 50, which Eleanor would have no trouble ragdolling

Right, and Eleanor is like half his size.
Physical size doesn't much matter when your talking about super strength. Pretty sure eleanor could lift a car, so Peters 100 pounds of body weight would be nothing to her, and unless he was using his strength to counter act her applied force, he'd just go flying.

My point is, you'd expect some resistance, not to mention better reflexes, from another vampire.
Yet they're so strong he couldn't kill Isiah's mom instantly? He's bashing her head for seconds and she was still conscious, while Ellie killed 3 adults in seconds. That doesn't make ANY sense. I guess Ellie is just superior to everyone in everything.
