Good production. The sets, costumes, and locations were good. The story moves well and the actors were a nice ensemble.

shareThis movie was really good. My mom had already seen it but she wanted to see it again, so I went with her. If you like period pieces, its setting is reminiscent of Gangs of New York. I never found it slow, it was always going somewhere, and the leading actress really carried the movie very nicely. John Lithgow is good as always.
shareI liked it too..Just saw it tonight. I learned about the history and the settings and costumes portrayed the time well. Glad it was a film and not a series.. It was just the right amount of time.
