I see many people not taking kindly to others not enjoying this film. In my opinion, it's majorly overrated. But I want to pose a question in regards to its rewatchability. How often can you laugh at the same jokes? It's well know that the film's comedic aspect was a large part of its success, if not the largest. Will this film really be able to stand the test of time?
sharePlenty of comedies have longevity. And this isn't *just* a comedy.
Yes, some people may not want to re-watch it or may tire of the humor. That's true of any film.
And for the record, it's not the people who didn't like the film that get under my skin. It's people that try to tell me not to like it.
If you feel it was overrated (assuming that by that you mean you didn't like it as much as others) that's totally fine of course.

I loved this movie in the theater but the jokes got stale on a second and third viewing. There's nothing wrong with that because I did enjoy the movie the first time but for me it didn't have much of a shelf life.
