It's kinda weird because I've been reading Deadpool comics for years, but I didn't realize he was a pansexual until later on. Mostly because he has sex with women, so it never occurred to me that he was also attracted to men as well. Yeah, Deadpool says gay stuff in the comics, but I thought he was just being silly.

I think the hip millennials picked up on the innuendo, took it literally, and are now clamoring for a gay Deadpool. And since it's kind of trendy, Hollywood is more than happy to oblige.
