How much more films before Colossus can show off his strength?

It's been 13 years since the character has appeared on film and I'm very disappointed the films haven't allowed him to demonstrate his strength yet. The best so far is X3 when he threw Wolverine the height of a sentinel and even X2 when he threw 2 guys at the same time through a wall.

However there should be more than that. The Thing from Fantastic Four has only been in 3 movies, but every film we saw that the dude was very strong. Worse they have Colossus getting overpowered in the movies. DOFP is understandable when the sentinel was able to catch his punch, twist his arm and lock it like that since he was fighting a 15 ft robot with his powers and then some, so basic logic says he would be the weaker of the two. However then this film has Gina Carano doing the same punch block, arm twist to Colossus and that one really looked bad.

So how much more films do you think it would be too see him really demonstrate his strength?
