It's amazing how forgiving the X-Men are. They take in serial killers, mass murderers, criminals and just plain animals like Wolverine, Rogue, Sabretooth, Emma Frost.

Listen to Colossus; he said that being a hero is about doing the right thing in the 4-5 times in your life when you are at an important crossroads. He understands that being a hero means that you may not always do the right thing, but you want to. Being a hero is a state of mind.
