Only edgy twelve year olds like this movie
The jokes are only funny for immature kids in middle school.

shareYeah, it would be better if it was just a typical horror movie aimed at 13 year olds, right?
shareYeah well, the only people who don't..............$h!t, did I leave the stove on?
shareI had much hope with an R-rated superhero(?) movie, but this one was so disappointing. R-rating seemed to mean, "Oh, we can say *beep* as much as we want! We're soooo bad, tee-her!"
shareWhat would have been better? More nudity? More blood?
shareI'd like to see a more in-depth story, I suppose. Actually, less blood and OTT action, something a little more suspenseful and dramatic, a little more character development.
I'd love to see a movi like this escape the tried/tired wisecracking hero. Those one-liners were witty when I was 10 and reading comics; now, at 50, they're trite and juvenile.
I grew up. I'd like a comic-based movie that has as well.
So what you are really saying is that you'd like Deadpool to not be like Deadpool and instead be like every other mainstream comic book super-hero.
No, that's not what I'm saying. Except for the f-bombs, Deadpool *is* very much like many other superheroes, at least in this movie. That's my point.
My earlier comment, though, was more about the state of superhero movies in general.

There's some irony here. What sort of person comes to a message board simply to insult everyone and pass unilateral generalizations?
Pro tip: People tend to have their own sense of humor. What is funny to some may not be funny to others. Makes the world go 'round in fact.
Get over yourself.
Reading my signature constitutes admission that I am correct. (Too late)
People who use the term edgy or salty are pretty immature themselves imo. Both denote a certain care about image and projection which is only really important to teenagers. Calling someone edgy comes with the prerequisite of person acting a certain way so they can be viewed as as dark or extreme, when you actually grow up you start to realize that most people don't really care how others perceive them, at least nowhere near the level as they did when they were teens. It denotes a certain lack of complexity in critical thinking and perception, the need to assign different people under such labels is due to person who is using that term's inability to assess each individual uniquely and not fall into the trap of using rote categorizations.
In simpler terms, mature adults like something or not because that’s how they actually feel, kids/teens always think about how something will make them look first.
I think nearly all humans think about how something will make them look, otherwise mirrors would have gone out of fashion centuries ago.
The exceptions those who have attained absolute enlightenment, like Buddha, and homeless bums.
Anyone that claims different is probably very far from enlightenment, and has some truths about themselves yet to be realised.
