Rated way too high

Not a horrible movie but definitely not 8.0 material. About 40% of the jokes were pretty good and 60% fell flat. Very little going on plot-wise. I really expected it to be better, based on the rating. I give it 6.5/10.

And I don't mean this in a bad way but this movie was almost as goofy and cheesy as Airplane or The Naked Gun. Deadpool does have 10 or 15 mins of serious stuff but it's still cheesy, almost on the same level as Not Another Teen Movie.

IMDb ratings have been bullsh!t for quite a number of years. Alot of bad movies are generally rated high. And alot of good movies are rated needlessly high. it's like an inverse Regression of the Mean in statistics. they tend to use the either 10 or 1 dichotomy of ratings. I partially blame it on Youtube with the thumbs up / thumbs down dichotomy.

Movie is a solid 7.

To your comic sensibilities perhaps - I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and I had to wait for my disc to hear all the jokes because I was laughing so hard from those that preceded them when I saw it in the theater.

Many found the humor right up their alley - and judging by the receipts I was not alone.

I love it because it doesn't take itself at all seriously, a much needed heavy-comedy outlier in the sea of high-quality comic-book movies in which we find ourselves these days.

You have really *beep* stupid sense of humor then. And all of the people like you. The jokes were moronic. They tried too hard. It was like watching a struggling stand up comedian tell jokes. 1/10 and even that's too generous of a rating.

You're good at calling people stupid, and suggesting they should die in a fire, etc.

Mr. Trump, don't you have a lot more important things to do right now. You should actually SEE Hamilton before you call it overrated.

I personally think that anyone that gives this film a 1/10 is stupid, labotomised, autistic, or didn't even see it and just hates Ryan Reynolds.

Your not enjoying a comedy is about as meaningful as you not liking licorice, black jelly babies, or fermented tofu when someone else does. You don't like them? Well don't eat em, and who the hell cares what you don't like.

Yes, he was juvenile. Yes, this film was immature. No it wasn't moronic. Because it hit a lot of people's cinema-going-g-spot and hard.

Not every film is as pretentious as you appear to be.

Nothing.

But some autists will claim you are a moron for liking them, because only people that like red ones, orange ones, and greens one (and hate black ones) are intelligent jellybaby eaters.

Well make sure you eat the right brand of jellybabies, because some jellybabies are made for stupid people, and some are made by companies that have a smarter customer base.

They don't hate Ryan Reynolds, they just won't admit to themselves that they LOOOOOOOVE Ryan Reynolds :)
