It's Ok!!!
It is perfectly OK to like or dislike any film for any reason, but it is amazing to see some folks try to explain, justify, criticize, vilify, & minimize other folk’s opinions on this movie. The plain facts or truth of the matter is (1) Ryan Reynolds did what he wanted to do a true "Dead pool" movie. (2) The real folks who ACTUALLY read this particular comic book agree that the movie was true to the character of the comic, (3) The Critics gave it a thumbs up, (4) The revenue gave it a thumbs up earning over 784,000,000 million in box office sales (imagine if China was in play) + another 84 million in DOMESTIC DVD/Blue Ray sales, & (5) the Golden Globe recognized the originality of the movie & solidified Ryan Reynolds creditability as a comedic actor. (6) It won a CLIO award for advertising & it may be headed in some form toward the Oscar?. Last but not least it really is "OK" to praise this movie or disqualify it as absolute garbage, either way “the truth is out there” regarding this movie like it or not… for the time being … It has turned the stiff jaw clinching muscle bound, world saving hero genre on it head & brought back the fun that comics use to have before fans demanded this group of characters be taken so seriously that make them surreal!
