shareTake it or leave it but I just wanted to say from what I've seen of Logan so far, it seriously might be up for best picture come this time next ear. Pretty unthinkable for a superhero movie, or non drama\romance that also isn't a spectacle film (think Titanic, Return of the King). The stakes in Logan and scope, at least what's been shown are much smaller, more intimate, but it hits home really really strongly. If they can stick the landing of the back 2/3's then it will need to be taken seriously as best picture contender. That Good.

Just another reason why the Golden Globes are a complete farce and a joke. I like the movie, but this is ridiculous. Especially when you consider the Dark Knight didn't get any best film noms.
Star Wars is like pizza, even when it's bad it's still pretty good.
I think The Dark Knight couldn't be nominated for best comedy and Drama was out of the question because the globes assume Drama is pure Drama like War Horse and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the real question is why the oscars didn't nominate both Nolan for best Direction (if you can nominate Spielberg for Indiana Jones then you can nominate Nolan at least for one of his works) and the movie itself for best picture.
And if you consider that Alice in Wonderland (2010) was nominated for best comedy you will understand that they like to nominate friends.
Yes lol their should be an oscar for comedy performance!
